Depression is a disease that affects millions worldwide. I never thought I would be one of them… until I was.
I am a corporate professional. I work in the pharmaceutical industry. In my early years I worked with a drug that also got the indication for depression, so I should know better right?
But last year, without seeing all the signs – but trust me, they were there – I fell into depression.
They were some difficult times. I had to pull through, and I did! Now, I consider myself being a full-functioning person once again. And it was all thanks to several strategies that I implemented everyday since I found out about them. I like to call the strategies, Happiness Habits, since doing them everyday has led to my feeling better, healthier in body, mind and soul!
After that I decided to write a book about it.
I think that if these happiness habits helped me overcome my depression, I should share them with others, so that they can overcome their depression too!
